  In the Proficient Level tattoo apprenticeship, you will learn the basic skills necessary to begin your career as a tattoo artist and will go more in depth on tattoo style drawing techniques.

This course will provide you with a solid foundation and the added knowledge that will help you jump start your career as tattoo artist

      In Proficient level tattoo apprenticeship, you will receive 150 hours of our tattoo style drawing training that will focus on tattoo line-work through tracing tattoo images with both graphite pencils and micron pen. While perfecting your line work skills. Using our extensive tattoo industry experience we will teach you how we turn any image into a workable tattoo outline.

      During this tattoo apprenticeship you will be taught how to properly color and shade tattoos with colored pencils using our light, mid, and dark tone process to add depth to all your tattoo images. We will also be teaching you a wide variety of tattoo lettering styles and how to embellish and incorporate them into any tattoo design.  You will learn how to combine different elements to create one of a kind stencil ready tattoo design. You will also learn how to layout more intricate tattoo designs including sleeves and other large tattoo pieces.

    Once the on-paper assignments have been completed you will advance to tattoo machine set up and break down on professional tattoo coil machines. In the part of the tattoo training, you will be shown the difference between liner and shader tattoo needles, needle groupings, needle size and the proper situations to use them. You will now have full confidence in knowing your tattoo equipment and will have 50 hours of tattooing on synthetic skin.  In the 50 hours you will learn how to outline tattoos, fill solid colors, shade black and gray and full color tattoos.
